PADI Scuba Instruction

PADI OPEN WATER DIVER Certification:

PADI's Open Water Diver course consists of 2 distinct
parts:

PART A: Has 5 Modules; each Modules has 2 parts:
1) Academic Lesson with a Knowledge Review
section
2) A Confined Water (pool) session
Pass all 5 Modules and "graduate" to:

PART B: 4 Open Water Dives (Lake or Ocean)
Pass all 4 Open Water Dives and "Graduate" to

PADI Open Water Diver Certification!!

Course materials consist of a CD-ROM containing reading and video material as well as equipment & dive travel information, the PADI Dive Tables and Log Book. These materials allow for self-study at home first, and then review with a PADI Instructor at the dive shop. This saves time and allows studying around YOUR schedule. Pool times accomodate most everyone's schedule and are in
2hr blocks over the course of 3 sessions or less.

PART B, Open Water Dives are usually done on a weekend in Lake Champlain or St. Lawrence River. Sometimes students will go on a dive trip with A+ Pro Divers and get PART B training in tropical ocean environments. The choice is yours.

The PADI Open Water Course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge to dive safely while at the same time being fun and having a good time underwater. Ages start at 10 and have no uppper limit. Many times entire families take the course at the same time and then go on exotic dive trips, often coming back with tales of adventure and excitement about what they experienced while underwater.

If you have ever thought about "Trying Scuba" we have a 1hr session, without any further commitment, that let's you do just that...Try Scuba. That way you can determine if you like it or not, deciding if you want to proceed further or not.

So give me a call, 518-561-7748 and sign up now. You
won't regret it, I guarantee it!

The most popular dives people really enjoy with me are: Underwater Scooter dive, UW Photography, UW Videography, Search & Salvage, Wreck dive, Boat dive, Altitude dive, Night dive, Drysuit dive and Underwater Metal Detecting. How about that for "Adventure"?

What's nice about the AOW course, is that it teaches you the "correct" way to do these various dives so you can go out and enjoy them. The PADI Advance Diver course starts with your purchase of the AOW Textbook and a meeting with me about which dives you want to do. You then read those chapters on the dives selected, do the Knowledge Reviews for those chapters, come on in for review and we go do the dives! It's really that simple and that easy. In one weekend you'll be through the course and certifed a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver!
